Saddams Sons Likely Killed

How many times have I heard this headline? Can't they actually just kill those fuckers yet? If they can it might put a damper on all those sniper attacks that have been pestering our troops over there for the past few months. Also those evil bastards deserve to be killed already along with their dad and all his cornies. Happy hunting boys.

Well I have quit the Bastards of melody and guess that I will just change this unused blog into me just posting stupid crap about stupid crap I feel like writing about. Most likely I will get bored with this soon and forget to post and let it fall by the wayside. Go me.

Bastards up to 161

This weeks CMJ top 200 shows the Bastards have gained seven positions in the nation wide CMJ. At this rate it will only take 23 weeks for the Bastards to reach the number one spot. Thanks to everyone for playing and listening to Fun Machine, and remember, there are still plenty of copies available so get some for all of your friends.

Bastards Break into the top 200

Just three weeks after initiating a full scale college radio assualt, the Bastards of Melody have succeeded in charting at #168 on the College Music Journal. This means that the Bastards are the 168th most played band on college radio in America. It is unkonown if this will lead to future success and happiness for the boys, but is known that it sounds really cool and impresses the hell out of Scott's friends. Mad props to Paul, Bill, Jeff and Pat for recording such a damn catchy cd.

This Just In: CD's for Sell

It has come to our attention that not everyone has obtained a copy of the Bastards of Melody's new cd "Fun Machine", which contains the worldwide hits: "Join Me", "Obssesion" and "Anything but Fine". This problem can be immediately remedied by purchasing an album via internet at bastardsofmelody.com. Or one could be bought at any of the many Bastard's concerts in your area. Don't delay, get your hands on one today, and never be lonely again.

Airplay

Paul has hired a publicist to promote our new album "Fun Machine" to radio. It is now in the third week of the campaign and everything seems to be going well. We are getting played on over seventy college radio stations and are on the top thirty list on 24 stations. The best results so far are in Decorah, IA where we debuted at #3 on KWLC. Hopefully things will continue to go well and we will be able to piece together something resembling a succesful tour.

First Post

Hi I'm Scott, the new bassist for the Bastards of Melody. I've been in for about a month or two now and everything is going ok so far. I set this site up to keep everyone who's interested up to date on what's going on. I've never done anything like this before so forgive me if I don't get everything perfect at first. Hopefully we'll have some interesting stuff to post but if not I guess I could just make up something. Bye for now.
